Our Nittany Boots are made using American Lasts, the last step in quality bootmaking.  This is the process where the upper is attached to the sole using a form.

What this means, in English, is that they conform to standard American sizing. So if you take a size 9 street shoe, you'd take a size 9 Nittany Boot.

Using the wide selection of Sizes and Calf Widths we are in the fortunate position that we can fit a wide variety of folks. Our Slims are slimmer and our Extra Extra Wides wider than other boot manufacturers.

But occasionally, they just don't fit... (There are few things worse than a pair of boots that don't fit correctly, eh?)

In that case we are happy to accept your return... assuming you haven't run up and down the gravel driveway in them, of course ;) We can refund your money ... minus the shipping charges.

Ah, there's the advantage of being closely aligned with the manufacturer ;)

And the good news is we can usually do a minor adjustment to our boots at the plant to suit your needs.

Although we don't do custom boots these "Semi-Customs" really help people with special requests.

Obviously, we have to adjust the standard pattern, so a small additional fee is needed. Also we can't offer the full refund guarantee like we do with our stock boots, but we're pretty easy to work with.
